Books Are A Candy Store, I’m The Faux Boss Around Here, Please Do Not Throw Up On Me

I would like to start by saying I have finally started my first class, “Using the Bible” at Spurgeon’s College today. I had to order my books today as well, and when I was looking for them online I stumbled across Westminster Theological Seminary’s bookstore. A very nice resource if I do say so myself. I am really excited to read all of the books, most of which have been on my “to read list” for some time now. It’s like I am a boy in a candy store with a list from mom and dad to get all my favorite treats.

In other news I have become the faux manager at my job by default, leave it be, it is not based on my competencies so far as I can see, it’s just that the other employees are either leaving or have recently got themselves fired. I’m not to sure this is the sort of place for me. Based on some difference in how I believe employees should be treated I may be leaving as soon as I get someone else trained on the press and in Illustrator, since I am the only one left in the department as a whole. I am going to put my resume out there on some church/ministry job sites but if you know of anyone who needs an assistant, particularly some one in ministry I feel I might be of some value, so feel free to drop me a line if you got a lead.

And last off, the pregnancy is getting harder on my wife day by day and the weather change does not seem to be helping. It’s hard on me to go from 90 degrees to 60 degrees in a day, so I could only imagine how it would be to have the added bonus of a baby growing inside of me pushing everything around and all the other things it causes the body to do not to mention secondary bonus of nausea. I pray she starts to feel better for her sake and ours. ~m.moore
