Dallas Willard says that the loneliest of moments is the time of decision. It is there that the weight of our future life clamps down on our hearts, that whatever comes will now be our responsibility. There are the second thoughts-and the third and fourth. Did I do the good and wise thing? Will others think I am a fool? What sort of path will this be? But in the midst of these anxious thoughts, there is forever a point of clarity. When you hear the call, you must go.
